WBS Rules of Conduct

WBS is a community on the Web. While we set the standards for what is acceptable here, we must all take responsibility for the quality of our experience. In this spirit, we have drawn up some rules to help everyone understand what is and is not acceptable on WBS.

1. Pornographic and obscene images are not permitted in public rooms.
2. Offensive and indecent handles are not allowed and will be blocked.
3. Harassment of another WBS member on WBS is not permitted.
4. Do not disrupt the flow of a discussion by repeatedly posting the same message or image or posting excessively large images.
5. Impersonation of others, including a WBS employee, representative or another WBS member, is forbidden. Handles that impersonate will be blocked.
6. WBS may elect at its sole discretion to monitor some, all or no areas of WBS for adherence to these Rules or other WBS rules that may be published from time to time. You acknowledge that by providing you with the ability to distribute your content, WBS is acting as a passive conduit for such distribution and WBS is not undertaking any obligation or liability relating to any content or activities in a chat room.
7. It is WBS's policy to respect the privacy of its Members. WBS will not monitor, edit or disclose the contents of your private communications unless required to do so by law or in WBS's good faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to: (i) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on WBS; (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of WBS; or (iii) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of WBS's Members or the public.
8. You and any person who has access to your Account must evaluate and bear the risk associated with the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any Content. WBS does not pre-screen Content as a matter of policy, but WBS reserves the right, but not the responsibility, to remove Content which is deemed in WBS's sole discretion harmful, offensive or otherwise in violation of the Rules or any rules or policies WBS has in place at the time.
9. You or WBS may terminate your Account at any time for any reason. Once your Account is terminated, you cannot engage in member activities on WBS in any manner or for any reason without the express written consent of WBS, and you cannot assist in enabling a terminated member's access to WBS using or via your Account.
10. To the full extent permissible under the applicable law, WBS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use WBS.
11. You expressly agree that use of WBS is at your own risk. WBS expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. WBS makes no warranty that WBS will meet your requirements, or that WBS will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or as to the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through WBS.
12. You understand and agree that any content downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of WBS is done at your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely responsible for any damages to your computer system or loss of data that results in the download of such data content.
13. In cases where you have allowed any other individual to use your Account or have negligently made your password publicly available, you recognize that you are fully responsible for: (i) the online conduct of such user; (ii) controlling the user's access to and use of WBS; and (iii) the consequences of any misuse. You further recognize that you, as the holder of the Account, are entirely responsible for activities conducted through such Account.
